Rice Porridge with Minced Pork and Carrot

Ingredients

15 g (1 tablespoon) uncooked white or brown rice
9 g (3/4 tablespoon) pork meat, minced finely
15 g (1.5 tablespoon) carrots, chopped finely and boiled until tender
500 mL (2 cups) boiled chicken stock


Method

1. In a pot, cook rice with the homemade chicken stock. Stir from time to time.
2. When rice has become porridge, add in carrots and minced chicken. Simmer until cooked.
3. Let it cool before serve.

fat = 0.6 g
protein = 15.0 g
calcium = 127 mg
iron = 0.9 mg


Tips! for the Parents

For a slightly younger baby, grate the carrots before cooking and puree or strain before serving. Instead of mincing, you can also scrape the pork meat.
