Fried Fish Cutlets Covered in Oats

(serves 4)


Ingredients

1/2 cup instant oats
300 g dory fish fillet
80 g onions, sliced
1 fish stock cube (optional)
1 egg
1 red pepper (chopped)
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup instant oats or bread crumbs (for coating)
1 cup of cooking oil


Method

1. Steam dory fish fillet till cooked.
2. Mash the fish fillet and mix with onions, egg, red pepper, salt until well-mixed.
3. Spread out the batter into thin, oval-shaped patties.
4. Coat the patties with instant oats or bread crumbs.
5. Fried in oil using medium heat until golden brown.
