Carrot Vegetable Noodles

Ingredients

120 g (1) carrot, peeled
150 mL (2/3 cup) water
180 g (1 1/2 cups) all-purpose wheat flour


Method

1. Blend the carrot with water in a blender to make carrot juice.
2. Mix the carrot juice and wheat flour together and knead into dough.
3. Cover the dough with wet cloth for 10 minutes.
4. Roll the dough into a 0.2 cm thick piece and sprinkle flour evenly over the top.
5. Cut the dough into thin pieces (spaghetti size) and flour lightly.
6. Cook the noodles in boiling water. Strain.
7. You can then use the noodles in other recipes (eg. mixed vegetables with spaghetti)


Tips! for the parents

You can also make spinach or egg noodles by replacing carrot.
