Games to Stimulate Visual Development (3 to 6 Months)

Rolling, rolling (vision, 3-6 months)

* Sit your baby on your lap, hold him against your chest (if he is not sitting on his own yet).
* Select a colorful ball that he will love looking at.

My Funny Hands (vision, 3-6 months)

* You will notice that your baby likes to explore their hands and feet at this stage of development. He may play with his hands or feet or he may even put his hands or feet into his mouth!
* This is a game he will definitely enjoy. Take a pair of your baby’s WHITE socks and cut five holes into each sock for his fingers.
* Decorate the socks with bright colors (use non-toxic materials or markers as he will most likely put his hands in his mouth) and interesting shapes or designs.
* Let your baby wear these special socks on his hands. He will start looking and exploring the socks.

My Funny Feet (vision, 3-6 months)

* This compliments “My funny hands” game.
* Take your baby’s WHITE socks and decorate it with bright colors, best if you can attach a bell or colorful buttons to it (make sure it is fastened securely onto the socks).
* Again, use non-toxic materials or markers to draw colorful designs and shapes.
* Put the socks on his feet and watch how delightful he gets.
* Do not leave the baby unattended as he may put the sock in his mouth.
* This exciting game for the baby gives him a new perspective.
