Games for Developing Baby Hearing (3 to 6 Months)

Shake, shake (listening, 3-6 months)

* Fill several small plastic containers with different objects like bells, dry beans, rice, paper clips or marbles. Fasten the lid securely so that your baby cannot remove the contents.
* Give a container one at a time to your baby, and while holding his hand, shake the container and say “shake, shake”.
* This will help your baby to discriminate sounds which, in turn, promotes language development.
